Twitter warning about new phishing attacks

Today October 27, 2009, Twitter warned users about a new scam on the services sub-blog.
Service is the latest scam designed to trick users to provide username / password for them. "We have noticed some deceptive move," Twitter said. "If you receive direct messages (type of messages are sent directly between two Twitter users know each other) to send you to the login page and Twitter do not do not do."


Message directly "toxic" that says "hi. This you on here?" and contains links to a fake website designed as Twitter login page. After victims username / password and login, they will step into the white blogspot site belongs to someone named NetMeg99.

While currently the fake login page and white blogspot page contains code attacks are not specific but hackers can use the username / password was stolen for the attacks in the future.
